I love all and any kind of book, art, photography and general weirdness. Rowing is a passion and so I voluntarily get up at 6 o'clock on a Sunday morning to do exercise.
165I love artists who work with books, and even though these works are almost always a comment on the deterioration of the written word, I feel somewhat heartened that they exist at all. Brian Dettmer is one of those artists. He alters the information contained within the book through meticulous excavation & dissection, creating something entirely new.
